Client Testimonials

Lancashire County Cricket Club

“Jonny initially helped enhance our ticketing sales strategy for an international against South Africa. We then worked on increasing our marketable database and reach, and implemented more segmented communications to fans and previous customers maximising our email and social channels. The club became more data driven across sales, marketing, and commercial activity. Jonny embedded himself as part of the team over a successful two year period and helped us through the data and systems challenges to unlock our fan engagement potential to give fans a better experience and grow our attendances and revenues.”

Edgbaston

“We have gone through a major transformation in our marketing and communication strategy at Edgbaston. Jonny helped to implement a data driven culture with customer being at the forefront of our marketing strategy. We now have a targeted marketing approach with customer demographics being analysed constantly in order to provide the right message to the right customer. As a result, our membership sales have increased being the highest since 2008, our T20 domestic ticket sales have increased by 97% in the last two years and we are now constantly achieving sell-outs for International matches. Jonny and his team worked extremely hard with great desire throughout this transformation in order to provide the best possible results for us at Edgbaston. Thank you!”

England Squash and Racketball

“Jonny helped England Squash and Racketball on two projects during 2013, devised to develop our understanding of the squash and racketball market and inform forward plans. The first project created a participation monitoring tool – capturing participant data and identifying other data points for our performance management framework. The second was to assess the market for squash and racketball in England, identifying areas of market growth potential and recommending relevant actions to promote growth in participation.

In addition to his clear understanding of methodology and analysis, Jonny’s energy and collaborative approach helped develop momentum for both projects from an early stage and he engaged well at all levels of the organisation. He presented very well to the Board of Directors and worked closely with Regional Managers, as well as gaining feedback and ideas from the wider squash and racketball team community. The team enjoyed working with Jonny and project outputs were very well received.”

“Jonny was once again the English Announcer at a major global table
tennis event, this time at Rio 2016. Jonny’s experience of broader
sports marketing, particularly around fan engagement, along with his
expertise in table tennis is ideal for this role. Jonny also brings
great passion, energy and commitment to providing a great in-venue
experience for table tennis spectators, whether experts or completely
new to the sport which is exactly what is needed for an Olympic and
Paralympic Games. It’s always a pleasure to have Jonny as part of the

“Jonny has been involved in the sports presentation element of our National Championships, ITTF World Tour English Open, and International European match events. He has also helped us with marketing initiatives to engage our table tennis fans in the run up to recent events and shared ideas and examples of how to re-engage lapsed members and fans who have left the sport. Jonny is passionate about sport and engaging with sports fans, and is energetic about his work.”
